Wonderful figures. Love the roads. Where did you get the roads?

I thought from the title it would be some RCW or Freikorps action, or some such, which I was intrigued that TMWWBKS would work well in those fun periods.

Obviously I was wrong! But definitely not disappointed. What a wonderful looking game, both scenery – great cliffs – and figures. Those two figures you painted on the day of the game were outstanding – did not look like one of my rush jobs at all!

We too found the officer traits fun, but does tend to slow the game down somewhat. The rules' successor, Rebels & Patriots, dispenses with a leader for each unit, and instead you just roll for your CinC. Which we liked, as we are a simple lot.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks guys.

Rallynow I will find out about the road, it either belongs to Chris or to the club.

Tony S I do RCW as well but use Triumph of the Will currently. Glad you were not disapointed. Thanks for the comment on the cavalry, shame I didnt get them based in time. Rolling for thw C in C and keepign other unit commanders generic might speed things up, we play another game in a few weeks, this time 1880 Abysinia, let you know how it goes.

Rallynow we think the roads are from The Last Valley a UK terrain manifacturer, picked up at shows in the UK.

What a great looking and fun sounding game!!!! I've been collecting vehicles, planes, and troops for this theatre and period for a long time. The project hasn't come to fruition, just yet….

I look forward to the AAR of the Abyssinia vs Italians game.

Cheers,
JB
