When I first started my blog I wrote a very simple guide to Naseby, vowing to return to do a more in depth piece. Well I have and here it is link Saddened to see that Moot Hill is no longer accessible, some of the viewing points are in a sorry state of disrepair, and the long promised museum still hasn't appeared. Accurate OS grid references, and postcodes(for satnavs)and photos to help locate parking.

Why not join the Battlefields Trust and help to preserve the battlefield, maintain the signage and maybe even get the museum built? |

I would if I lived closer. 2+ hour journey each way Distance is not an issue. The Battlefields Trust needs members to help fund raise (a museum would cost ~£3m), and raise awareness amongst the public at events all over the country. Take a look at their website and you will see there is a huge amount going on that you can support wherever you are. |
