Winston Smith23 Mar 2019 7:40 p.m. PST

Don't want to.
I saw John Wayne as Genghis Jhan.

I love the Atomic Testing Museum. MRS Bunkermeister and I have been there twice.

We have also been to the National Museum of Nuclear Science. They have an Atomic Cannon, and the sail of a nuclear submarine. link

Yep, been to the atomic testing museum. Interesting afternoon, and welcome break from the strip.

I saw it on the Travel Channel, IIRC. But too close to ground zero and downwind … evil grin

Yes, I have. My father used to work at the test site in security as area 51 is known hereabouts. He used to make my mother crazy, he would come home and say "you would not believe what I saw today" my mother would reply "what did you see?" the response was always "you know I can't tell you."

I have never visited the Nevada Test Site, but I did see Dr. Atomic at the San Francisco Opera.

Friend of mine used to work there as a fiber optics tech. He hated the hours (120hr weeks were pretty normal!), but mostly liked the place. He did say the ravens were rather scary-big, like 4' tall.

Until someone ran over a critter (probably a raven) in his work van, which then set off all the radiation alarms when they went to leave the Site.
