link And, for bonus points, I also saw Cold War Hot: Alternate Decisions of the Cold War from Tsouras (whom has edited a LOT of alternate history books). I wasn't aware of this particular volume, but recently I've been interested in the WWW3 sub genre of wargaming. It admittedly broke my "is-it-more-than-the-price-of-a-cup-of-coffee" rule, but $5.99 USD ain't too bad. Chapter 5, which describes a more violent, and successful Quebecois revolution in the 1960s, was the tipping point for me. And the chapter on the invasion of Communist China by Soviet Russia also pushed my decision. I had great memories of playing that SPI game. link |
