By S-Models
They are the model captured in German service, but share the French model sprue (onlt difference is you have no trench crossing tail, and of course, decals are german), but well, these were the only ones available. BTW, who can tell what the matter is with S-Models? They don't seem to have released anything new for quite some time, which is a pity as their products are really very good)

This said, here are the pics

I got a pair of BMP-1's by S-Models a month or so back from China. The only seller on E-Bay I could easily find. I guess they aren't readily available in the rest of the world?
I agree, they are nice kits!

Foxbat those look great. Didn't the Germans closed off the rear commander's hatch and moved it to the top of the tank?

Well, I buy mine from an UK retailer called the Hobby Den. I'sd orderred the French Army ones, but they no longer had them and proposed to substitute the version in German service. The only difference is that most of the times, but not always, the Germans sliced off the top of the cupola on top of the turret to install an opening hatch. This said, the sprue has parts for both kinds of cupola, so you have zero conversion work needed.

Which was not the case with their model of a S35 Somua. Weirdly enough, the sprues had been cast with both kinds of cupola, but S-Models had taken the time to remove the French cupola from the sprue (you could checkwhat the sprue was originally on the henk of holland site. I must say this left me puzzled as to the reason of the operation, and I was expecting a French version of the model which apparently never came. Not seen any new models from them in quite some time, so I am wondering whether they are still in business, or have become extinct. Which would be a shame, since they make some great casts of useful and common vehicles, but rarely available as models in 1/72.

Agreed. Their A-13 British tank is a gem. Hope they haven't quit production. I converted one to the spaced-armour version used in the desert.

I have plenty of their kits and they are great. Lovely detail but not too much for gaming purposes. Not as robust as PSC but better detailed.
