EVENT SCHEDULE:

Thursday late Afternoon/Evening

T1. Chotusitz, May 17, 1742: Paul Petri hosts one of the early battles between Frederick's "bad guys" (according to
Professor Duffy) and the Austrians using a test run of Paul's 18th century adaption of the "To the Strongest" rules. This innovative system uses a square grid and cards instead of dice. 1/72 scale, 4-6 players.

T2. Brandywine Revisited, 1777: Thom Osborn & Herb Gundt host this epic battle of the American War of independence
using "Rebels & Patriots" rules. 28mm, 4-6 players.

T3. Black Forest Breakthrough, 1703: French forces attempt to break through the defensive lines at the western edge of
the border hills of the Black Forest to gain access to inner Bavaria to aid other Bavarian forces who are threatened and outnumbered there by converging imperial corps. Jude Becker hosts using his "Combat General" rules. 28mm, 4-6 players.

Friday Morning 9:00

FM1. The Battle of Soor, September 30, 1745: Paul Petri will host this Second Silesian War battle using his adaption of
"To the Strongest" rules. 1/72 scale, up to 6 players.

FM2. Monmouth, 1780: Has General Charles Lee betrayed the Patriots: Can Washington save the day in this refight of
the important battle from the American War of independence! Michael Wedding hosts using "Guns of Liberty" rules. 15mm, 6-8 players.

FM3. Brandywine Revisited, 1777: Thom Osborn and Herb Gundt host a second session of this battle of the American War
of independence using "Rebels & Patriots" rules. 28mm, 4-6 players.

FM4. "Away All Boats!": in 1759, on the coast of France, a British sloop captain sends a cutting out expedition into a rocky cove defended by shore batteries to capture a heavily armed French privateer. What could possibly go wrong? Multiple sessions may be run; jump in any time and play as many times as you like. Jeff Knudsen hosts using "Away Boarders!" rules, and his sublime 1:900 ships. Up to 4 players per game.

Friday Afternoon 2:00

FA1. Havana, 1763: Leave it to the one and only Chris Engle to stretch the envelope once again and find a little known
corner of the 7 Years War. Colonial Militiamen are sent up country to round up supplies for the British Siege of Havana. Little do they know that there are locals ready to fight! This game will test whose colonial militia is worse. This is not a matrix game but uses Chris' new rules "Follow Me Boys". 25mm, 4-6 players.

FA2. Into Darkest America: First time attendee James Boyle presents a hypothetical Franco—British encounter during the
French and Indian War using Warfare in the "Age of Reason 3rd ed." rules. 15mm, 4-6 players. Welcome James (one of
our 10 Nebraska attendees).

FA3. Battle of Guilford Court House. Cornwallis has finally brought Greene‘s American army to a battle, but the field is of Greene's choosing. Jim Purky hosts. Fife and Drum rules, 28mm, 4-6 players.

FA4. Seven Years War Forever! A clash of Prince Henry and General Serbelloni. Ken Bunger hosts this scenario using his
venerable "Tricorne" rules. 28mm, 4~6 players.

FA5. Into Darkest India: Jurgen Olk once again takes us to the lndia of Clive for another spectacular expedition to the
subcontinent. Jurgen hosts with his own rules, "Currycorne" (version of "Tricorne"). 28mm, 6 players. This game may
have a late start and extend into evening.

FA6. War of Jenkins Ear: Britain and Spain tangle in the swamps of Georgia, ca. July 1742. Dale Wood Hosts. Warfare in the Age of Reason, 3d Ed. 28mm, 6 players.

Friday Evening

FE1. A Greater than Nelson?: Michiel de Ruyter leads his Dutch navy once again seeking the blood of the upstart English to ensure his country's commercial dominance of the world. Tod Kershner hosts using "Warfare at Sea in the Age of Reason" rules and 1/1200 ships. Up to 6 players.

FE2. The Dean West Memorial FAK Game: To honor the memory of our fallen brother, Alex Burns will run this Seven Year's War game using Dean's "Final Argument of Kings" rules. 15mm, 8-10 players. RIP Dean, we all miss you.

Saturday Morning 9:00

SM1. Zorndorf Morning Attack, 25 August, 1759: This scenario will cover the morning attack by King Frederick, his
Advanced Guard under Manteuffel and cavalry wing under Seydlitz. Can the Prussians push the obstinate Russians back
or will they hold firm? This scenario is from an upcoming scenario book on the Seven Years War in Eastern Europe. Tim
Tilson hosts using "Black Powder" rules. 15mm, 6 players.

SM2. into Darkest India: Jurgen Olk once again takes us to the India of Clive for another spectacular expedition to the
subcontinent. Jurgen hosts with his own rules, "Currycorne" (version of "Tricorne"). 28mm, 6 players.

SM3. Malatitze, 1708 Great Northern War: Russian dawn attack on an isolated Swedish camp. This Russians can actually win this one! ln real life, both sides claimed victory. Rules are the much-improved "Beneath the Lily Banners 3rd Ed.", with GNW mods, simplified for convention. Can the Swedes hold out until rescued by Charles Xll or will the Russians get their first win against the Swedish Royal Army? Dannie Fogleman hosts. 28mm, 6 players.

SM4. Black Forest Breakthrough 1703: French forces attempt to break through the lines of defense setup at the western
edge of the border hills of the Black Forrest to gain access to inner Bavaria to aid a Bavarian force which is threatened
and outnumbered by converging imperial corps. Jude Becker hosts using his "Combat General" rules. 28mm, 4-6 players.

SM5. Where's Wally? This will be a skirmish action on the Pennsylvania frontier involving a raid on a settlement by
Butler's Rangers and their Iroquois allies. What Butler does not know is he picked a time when the local militias had
gathered. Steve Dake hosts. 28mm, 6 players.

SM6. An Anglo-Dutch War naval engagement ensues using Warfare at Sea in the Age of Reason rules. John Read hosts.
1/1200 ships, 4-6 players.

Saturday Afternoon 2:00

SA1. Liegnitz, 1760: Alex Burns hosts this Seven Year War battle. Rules used are a version of ESR modified for the Seven Years War. 15mm, 4-6 players.

SA2. Broglie vs. Brunswick, 1758: Ferdinand of Brunswick with the newly arrived British troops go on the offensive.
Unfortunately for the French Lieutenant General Broglie commands. A meeting engagement ensues near Hesse-Cassel.
Todd Fisher and John Read host using modified "Revolution and Empire" rules. 15mm, 4~6 players. This interesting
scenario may extend 5 hours.

SA3. Battle of Cheraw (AW! campaign game that will decide the winner of our ongoing South Carolina 1780 Campaign.
It's Cornwallis vs. Greene out in the wilds of South Carolina. Both sides need a victory to win the campaign and Greene has just called out the local militia to reinforce his ranks. Jim Purky hosts. Fife & Drum rules, 28mm, 8 players.

SA4. Zorndorf, Afternoon Attack 25 August 1759: This scenario will cover the afternoon attack. King Fredrick has rallied portions of his army and now along with Dohna's wing, they advance against the Russian Observation Corps. Can the Prussians sweep the corps from the field or will they hold the Prussians in place. Tim Tilson hosts using "Black Powder" rules. 15mm, 6 players.

SAS. Seven Years War Forever! Serbelloni strikes back. Ken Bunger will run this scenario using his venerable "Tricorne"
rules. 28mm, up to 8 players. This will also be run in evening.

Saturday Evening

SE1. Defense of Fort Wood: A hypothetical action during the French and Indian War. The French have captured the British Fort Wood located in a remote area of the deep forest. lt is up to Sir John Fulford, the Duke of Dalewood, to lead his British regulars, American militia and Native American scouts to take it back. The Frenchies and their native allies lie,in waiting, hidden in the dark hollows. Tod Kershner hosts using his "Warfare in the Age of Reason: 3rd Ed" rules. 1/72 scale, up to 8 players.

SEMINARS/TALKS

Alex Burns presents "Smashing the Clockwork Soldier: The Infantrymen's Experience of Battle, 1740-1783." Friday, lunch hour.

Jim McIntyre presents "Scion of the Enlightenment: Count Wilhelm of Schaumburg-Lippe." Also, the artillery teacher of
the 18th Century and founder of the Portuguese Army. Friday evening.

Jim McIntyre presents "Army of immigrants: Foreign Officers and the Continental Army." TBA Saturday

Movie Night: Ken Bunger, Dannie Fogleman, Paul Petri and several others will remember and share photos/videos of the
1994 Duffy Saxony tour on this its 25th Anniversary. At least ten of our original merry band of "Happy Bunnies" (a private joke known only to the 1994 group) will be in attendance from this first Duffy trip organized by then editor Jim Purky. Probably late Friday Night.

FOOD

We will again have sandwiches and snacks available in the game room through a food cart and direct access window to the bar. Bar will also be open for hot meals and drinks. Breakfast TBA.
