Very nice Collection and set-up!
Peter (Blunders of the Danube)would be proud!

I get the feeling the game was lost due "luck" and very little to none for commandmenship or game plan!
Would this be accurate interpretation of your AAR?
I do know that is what I ran into when I played these rules and so have been too gun shy to play them since.
Oh the quandary of NAP rules sets!

Luck or lack thereof on my part was major factor yes but C'est La Querre :-)

Many newer games have the "game within a game" which you either love or hate. Still luck or lack of needs to be used in war gamming.

On balance I prefer these sort of 'narrative/chaos' rule sets to those with predictable moves/phases/outcomes BUT I do play the more 'controlled/traditional' sets as well and guess what my luck is no better in those ! :-)
