Good evening everyone,

What is the RSM figures?

Someone at the history of this factory?

It seems that they have a range eighteenth in 25 / 30mm figures?

Where can we buy them?

Thank you

Here is a start. Fragments I am afraid.
They started as Pax Britannica back in 1977?
Steve Hezelwood? Since Deceased.
Then they went to US as Rusty Scabbard Miniatures.
Lovely figures indeed.

The 25mm AWI look like they would work with fife and drum.

I have hundreds and am very pleased with the look and, for those of us on a fixed income, very affordable.

RSM figures are available from the Dayton Painting Consortium using the link in the Joe's Shop response above. They are lovely figures with simple details making them easy to paint. They are compatible with Minden Miniatures:

fifeanddrum-minis.com/index.html

and Crann Tara Miniatures:

cranntaraminiatures.co.uk

Both Minden and Crann Tara were sculpted by the same individual. All three lines are highly recommended.

Very nice figs – I inherited a bunch of them and they are a proud part of my Prussian SYW army

Overall, a nice range of figures at a great price. Not overly detailed which, in my opinion, makes them more desirable. That said, they are a small operation and may very well have to cast the figures when you place the order, depending on type and quantity. I imagine they are gearing up for the SYW Assoc. convention that is happening at the beginning of April.

As a historical side note, I believe they are the first figures I ever purchased at a convention in the late 70's or early 80's when RSM sold the figures individually.

I have quite a few from their ACW line in 20mm. Really quite nice figures and a good company to work with.

Paskal,

I also like RSM-95 figures. Here are a few of my blog posts with pictures of them.

DPC also carries the former London Warroom line of 18th Century Spanish figures which are also fairly well done and look even better painted.

They do fit very well with Minden

martin goddard Sponsoring Member of TMP22 Mar 2019 2:32 a.m. PST

They were marketed as a 30mm range. Just shows how figure sizes wander.

Thank you for your promptness.

These are old figures so their type of sculpture is how ?

As the 30 mm war game willie or 30 mm war game Tradition?

martin goddard Sponsoring Member of TMP22 Mar 2019 10:35 a.m. PST

I would describe them as lean with subtle detail. So similar to Willie.

Now I would like to know how are the uniforms of the 25mm French infantry figures in the SYW range of RSM95?

1 / They have collars on their coats or not?
2 / They have turned back on their coat or not?
3 / They have lapels on their coats or not?

Thank you.

1799Suvorov24 Mar 2019 4:47 p.m. PST

The French do not have collars
They do have turn backs
No lapels. The coats are closed up, buttoned.
Our original email that we used for 25 years has been lost by ATT.
The new email on our website is the one to use.
We will be at the Seven Years War Association convention this year.
