So, do the Canadians use the same TO&Es as the British for their infantry and tank units at the squad, platoon, company, and higher levels?

Yes, the Canadian WEs were largely the same as their British equivalent. Certainly no differences of note in Sections and Platoons for the Inf and the same allocation of Atk guns.

Yes they did, though again not terribly well defined as to who would be LOB and how many. It makes it into the Battle Experience Questionnaire issued to Canadian units during 1944ish.

According to George Blackburn in his book Guns of Normandy one Canadian battalion left out the the 2IC, some sergeants and a few experienced privates as a cadre for in case the unit was hit hard and they had to rebuild.
