Hello again all,
Been some time since my last post.
Here are wip pics of some conversions I did.

I had bought a lot of these old skaven for my son , which unfortunately he didn't like as they are the same pose ( sigh that's what a ton of choice does to you, i would have gobbled them up if someone gave them to me when I was a boy !!!)

I had a lot of beastmen heads & arms spare , & since beastmen are known for their prolific nature, skaven beastmen hybrids are a possibility.

Very simple conversion. Remove the head , tail ( though this could be left on) & arms. Imho they came quite good . So what if they're short, variation is good.
I will end up with around 30 of them. A good sized unit for little investment.

Here are comparison pics

Interesting idea, must keep it in mind for possible adaptation to my skinks.
I'm sure you can come up with an interesting back story for their smaller size, perhaps involving insular dwarfism. Or perhaps this is the normal size for beastmen, and the larger ones are the aberration.

Thanks Grelber,
You came up with a better background than me.🤔

Chaos aka continouos change ( even in nature ) is the natural state of things.

Not bad at all!

Looking forward to them painted up.

Thanks emckinney,
The extra bits are one of the Gw pros
Pity they do not texture the sprues also into usable stuff.

Will post more pics & painted pics soon

Those are great.

Sorry about your son, there. I would be happy to take any random Clan Rats you have lying around. I agree that the cure for uniformity in figures is a little elbow grease on the conversion front.

These look awesome! It's really cool to have beastmen of varying heights like that. Adds so much personality and character to the unit.

Awesome stuff. Beastdwarfs!!

Thank you all,
Etotheipi,I'll be keeping them now that I found they can be converted well. Am looking at other possibilities.Chaos dwarfs or short chaos knights ? Or maybe even scifi….

Beastdwarfs is a good name, Capt Flash 👍👍👍

Or maybe even scifi….

A couple of bits of clear plastic and some Sharpie marker and they get good force/laser swords and shields.

Good idea to swap heads.
By now, the question is ; What have done with all these rat heads ?

;)
