Does anyone know who currently owns the rights (if they are not public domain) to Chainmail rules by Gary Gygax? |

You may actually be able to find them free on the web if you look around. |

Since TSR owned them, and Wizards of the Coast bought TSR, and Hasbro bought WotC, I would assume that Hasbro owns the copyright. And since Jeff Perren (co-author) is still alive, that applies for at least another seventy years. |

Note that there is also the later (second?) edition rules, which went with the Chainmail miniatures line. |

But I'm guessing if you;re after the rights you're thinking of publishing a new edition, or something similar? |
