I have a weeks business in Paris coming up, are there any good model shops or military museums worth visiting in the area? |

THE museaum: Les Invalides, Musée de l'Armée. link Not too much by way of historical shops though there are a couple of fantasy/role-playing places. The only historical that I know of is F.g. Miniz, 78 Avenue de Suffren, 75015 who do various 28mm French ranges. This is very close to Les Invalides – just a short walk towards the Eiffel Tower – but check if they're open to the public. fgminiz.com |

There are a couple of stand out shops: Les Drapeaux de France, 1 Place de Colette Boutique Noxa. Really close to the Louvre. Au Plat d'Etain, 16 rue Guisarde. Latin Quarter. EOL Modelisme, 3 rue du Louvre. General model shop. Military stuff in the basement if memory serves me correctly. They also have a branch near Chatelet. |

Call me crazy but I bought my Napoleon figure in Paris and my Wellington figure in London, and of course picked Blucher up in Berlin. But that was decades ago so no idea where the shops were |
