Anyone have any recomendations or has anyone converted a miniature to look like Destro from the GI Joe series? Looking at making a 28mm (40k) Cobra Army but I'm stuck trying to find Destro.

I got your back, Historique. Reported the bad title to The Editors.

My roommate is building a Cobra army in Infinity, I will check with him on what he was using for Destro.

But for 40k, you're probably better off raiding something like a Catachan with a bald head (say, from a Space Marine plastic kit), since Infinity minis are much closer to truescale 28mm or 32mm. Much slimmer than 40k minis are.

Lion,

That's what I was thinking as well. My concern is the torso/body. Just not sure where to turn.

Thanks!

Looking at this image, you could probably get away with a Commissar, with a head-swap with a bald head

victoria miniatures, anvil industries and artel miniatures. Some have bits, some have full figures that would work for conversion.. also, you could try the male genestealer cult magnus as it has a neck lappel tyle apperal that would stand out over the back of his head kinda like the picture you showed us.

for bald heads, maximini, bits of war and puppets war should all have good bald head options. Mad robot miniatures has a variety of human heads to work for your. link

Anvil Industry has a couple of characters that might work. it also depends on which version of Destro you want to have. link

I just repainted a HeroClix Red Skull. This wasn't my idea; someone else did this first.
