A while ago I paid for AOTRS Shipyards to do me an Iltis Jeep in 1/144 scale (12mm figures) so I could print it on my own printer. I did have a promise for the price of the commission I could have at least 1 variation. I found a few pictures of the Iltis with a Milan mounted on it. Not sure if it's German but a good enough excuse for me to put it in my army. This is particularly as the Forward Edge of Battle is my favorite place and this is ideal for hit and run. Its not on general release yet but If anybody wanted a few I am sure if you mentioned me to Alex he would do some on the home printer before the official release ob Shapeways. flickr.com/photos/56805875@ … ed-public/ to be honest the picture is not great it looks better in real life. I always have crew in empty open vehicles look terrible to me. |

No worries. Thank you for reposting. Looks like I'll need some of those, including the ones with Milan. Could use some of the older Mungas too (with SS-11 or that older ATGM whose name currently escapes me – Bantam, perhaps?), and the little Spz Kurz with 20mm cannon. I keep hoping for the latter, eventually, one day. The Munga's ATGMs were mounted in little square racks, to be fired to the rear of the vehicle, back in the day. |

Thressher, I have on your comments looked for the Munga. I was staggered to find they made 46,750 of them! I can find lots of pics of them and some fitted with the 106mm recoiless gun but none with ATGM. Have you got pics? I would be interested in seeing them. |

Munga is doable – just, given the sources (and as I've had to shelve the Spartan – because it is sufficiently not a variant of the Scorpion I can't get started until I talk to an expert, I'm looking at it now). SpZ Kurz is off the table, I'm afriad, unless someone can turn up some technical drawings/blueprints – there's nothing I can find – as without that I can't even get started. |
