My friends Bob and Alan are running Rivoli, but I will be running FGA again.

I was very rushed when I put it on at Historicon 2018. There were some things I just ran out of time to complete. My bad.

I have been slowly working on improving the look of the table, and adding some new elements. Here's what I've been doing.

Upper right is a tree stand from my friend Tim Peaslee, lower left is my tree stand. His looks a 1000% better. So I need to fix that.

Heat up the pin till it's glowing, shove it into the base of a plastic tree.

Hello, all,

picture

I've been running games of my home grown system, "Baroque Battles," for years using reference sheets. I've finally fleshed those out to a set of shareable rules.

Ooops! The crosspost bug caught me. I started a new post for my gridded game news and it wound up here!

Not sure how one improves on amazing but seems you have done it. Outstanding terrain. Doesnt matter what era/genre you play you want to jump on this one!

Xin/Jeff,

Usually, the terms "insane" and "anal" are used in a pejorative sense. Clearly this is not the case for many of us in this hobby, and it especially applies to you.

Your are crazy and insane enough to have such a wonderful workplace area where you can conceive and construct such breathtaking builds. And you are anal enough to consider these builds to be "not good enough" and you do something about it.

Keep at it and keep the photos of future work coming!

Nice!!!

Beaches look a little too pristine, and you might want a mat that looks more like water. OTOH, Aztec ancient lizardmen vs. resort guess in Bermuda shorts isn't a bad idea… :D
