I'll be running two games at Cold Wars: a Herero scenario and a new Nama scenario (with new German carbine rules). For details go to: hererowars.com.

Fascinating research and unusual project!

This is a wonderful example of an individual concentrating on a "niche" conflict and making that the centrepiece of his hobby.

I played in one of Roy's games back in Fredericksburg. The scenarios and his history are immaculately researched. Sign up if you want to play something well out of the ordinary. I believe the rules used are a variation of TSATF and it plays very quickly.

I love it when gamers have an unusual passion project like this – terrific stuff.

Roy Jones is a gentlemen gamer and a great GM. I've always had a great time in all of the games I've been in that he and Eric have run!

By the way, Roy and Eric's scenario book really sets the bar IMHO for wargaming scenario books. The content, layout, and production come together perfectly make an outstanding user friendly product. There is history of the conflict, unit data, maps, great and meticulously researched scenarios, and figure requirements as well as figure availability, etc.

Cheers,
JB

I've played in a couple of Roy's games, also. Top notch! As is Roy, himself. Great guy!
