Hi folks, I'm looking for a source for mobile laser/maser cannons – nothing super detailed or fancy. I'm thinking of pieces from a board game that I can repurpose. The vehicle should be about an inch long or so. About the size of the mobile units in Fortress America. Thanks in advance! Wesley |

If you're going to be in Lancaster next weekend, check out the House of Dice. (I don't know what the formal name is--always the northeast corner of the main floor.) They have game pieces in serious quantity, and if there's anything in current production, that's probably it. It would, of course, be cheating to take an Axis & Allies tank, cut off the turret and glue on a section of soda straw or stirrer. |

I am in the US, so shipping is usually cost prohibitive from the UK. Besides, those metal minis would need to be painted after modification to make them wheeled or tracked. Much more work than I am looking to do for this project. I'm really looking to source something that's used in a board or wargame that I can cannibalize for parts. |
