It looks like it actually provides less area protection than current helmets, and the rear of the skull and neck seem more exposed. Maybe this is the result of a lot of head injury modeling based on battlefield data??? |

Maybe more to do with having better movements of the head up & down when trying to see up into tall buildings. |
