Which 15mm figures and vehicles would you recommend for the early part of the Desert War, and for the fighting in East Africa, between the Commonwealth & Italians? |

Don't think anyone does East African ascaris, though if you are not into headswops then Blue Moon's Sudan range may offer a way out:

Blue Moon actually has Askaris. The bags have a mix of turban and Fez. I painted 600 up for Von Wissman's column. |

East African commonwealth is quite difficult since the Indians wore traditional footwear and were in shorts. |

Eureka has a range of Italians for East Africa, they just aren't up on the website yet. There are foot and mounted Ascaris in the tall tabusc fez as well as Somali Dubats in turbans. |

Don't forget the Matilda II's in "Gazelle Force", though I generally don't think of gazelles when I think of Matilda II's. |
