I mostly play 20mm modern games, many posted at my blog. I fooled around a bit with an alien invasion of modern earth in a couple of games:

I want to take this and expand it, with some aliens that aren't repurposed Tau from 40k. I'm looking for something like the aliens from the Battle of Los Angeles or that Battleship movie. All of the good candidates I've found have been 15mm (tall ones in that scale) or 28mm. A bit of scale mismatch is fine. Looking for recommendations.

Their Not-Blakes 7, Not-Federation types might work for a more humanoid enemy, although they lack heavy weapons…
