Any body makes a French Machine Gun Ammo Loader? This is for the French Campaign. Not North Africa. The Warlord Senegalese Section in a box doesn't have it. They say use the submachine gunner. I would rather have an actual loader. I also need a few individual riflemen. I didn't find any at Warlord, Crusader, Dixon or Foundry.

For a MMG or and LMG? Crusader has a nice loader in its Hotchkiss set: link Then, Warlord does a 100% accurate LMG loader in 2 positions: link and link plus the individual rifles: link Finally, Battle Honors does both MMG and LMG teams: link (Photos of the Hotchkiss loader; the LMG loaders have pistols in hand.)

Thanks Jeff,

I have seen all of those but I need a Senegalese loader.

Your only practical option is a head swap. Just doing this for my French Senegalese.

I bought the separate Senegalese heads from Gripping beast.

They also make figures that can be assembled with Senegalese heads plus a pack of rifles with fixed heads.

Sorry don't know who might stock them in the States.

Allan.

Ah, now I understand. I'm with Allan Doran – headswaps are the way to go. Brigade Games carries the Woodbine line in the US, and Lon is a very accommodating guy: link

There are also ACW lines with Zouave heads.

I actually doubt that the Senegalese wore the cheche in combat. I think they wore the Adrian, like all French troops.
