In the osprey book it has the tops of the Czapka post 1812 as black top rank and file, NCO White and Orangs cross. What are the tops pre 1812 for rank and file, NCO and Officers. The plates I see have a variety of colours.

In the NY Public Library collection there is a print of an Uhlan (I think) with a black copped czapka
