The Kindle version of my book The Wargaming Compendium is at the ridiculous price of £1.19 GBP on the UK Kindle store right now, so if you don't have a copy, or would like a digital back-up version, now's The time to grab it!

No need for VPN. It's $1.30 USD on Amazon US.

Totally, totally worth getting. I think it is worth buying even at the full undiscounted hard copy price!

Fingerspitzengefuhl03 Mar 2019 6:20 p.m. PST

It's £1.19 GBP in the U.K. store
Is it any good?

battleeditor03 Mar 2019 6:27 p.m. PST

@Fingerspitzengefuhl

Well, you could read the reviews.

Tried to get onto the Amazon UK store and yes it was 1.19GBP but as I'm not in the UK it said go away, try the US. So went to the Amazon.Com and there it is at 11.49USD…

Think I'll stick with my hard copy.

mpanko03 Mar 2019 7:42 p.m. PST

That is the craziest thing I have seen in a while…..98% off

Oldgrumbler03 Mar 2019 7:54 p.m. PST

Wow! Thanks for the heads up. Cost about the same as 1/3 of a cup of Starbucks. Bought it.

Thanks for the heads up Henry – copy bought and I look forward to seeing your new campaigns book. I hope you still make some money from my Kindle purchase but I can't imagine its much at that level of deep (bathyspheric) discount.

@fantasque
About 12p a copy! 😂

Tony S04 Mar 2019 2:57 p.m. PST

Huh? I thought Kindle authors made either 35% or 70% royalties, less "delivery" costs. I guess because the file is huge, they charge a fair bit for delivery?

I too am looking forward to your campaigns book.

battleeditor05 Mar 2019 7:57 a.m. PST

@Tony S

The book isn't self-publsihed: it's published by Pen & Sword. As a traditionally published author, I get paid 10% of net sale price.
