I think you're being overly critical of your painting, they look fine in the pictures you've posted!

Cheers Lion – to be fair, I don't think they look BAD bad, just annoyed with myself for trying to do things the proper Duncan-approved way when I 'm pretty certain I could have achieved better results "cheating" with washes and drybrushing. They're not bad, they're just not quite where I wanted them to be, and it's given me a heads up about possible near-sightedness to investigate..
