Hi all. I finished up my Modiphius Star Trek Adventures miniatures with Kirk and Co. over at Dead Dick's Tavern. More pictures and the painting process detailed over there. angrypiper.com/?p=3022 Comments welcome, there or here. |

Very nice! I see the guy in the red shirt is making a quick (and futile) dash from the grim fate awaiting him! |

I think that is Scotty running to "get more power". |

Or eject the Warp Core. Always one of the other. These look really good except for Chekov(?) in the back. The hair doesn't look quite right. Almost looks like Khan in a TOS uniform. |

Nice work on the uniforms. |

Those look very nice, and I love the action poses. Wish I could afford them. Had to settle for the much more boring, but imminently more affordable, Heroclix figs. |

Outstanding, love the paint jobs on them. |

Thanks to all for the kind words. Dynaman: That's Sulu in the back. Chekov is behind Spock. I agree, though…Modiphius didn't get Sulu's hair right. Still, he has a cool pose. There's a much better picture of him on my site. Thresher: I agree, these sets are not even remotely reasonably priced at retail. Modiphius is insane. But I didn't pay anywhere near retail for any of them. You can find good deals on them if you search eBay and Amazon. I paid about $17 USD for the Romulans, $26 USD for the TNG crew, and only $8 USD (yes, EIGHT dollars)for the TOS crew. I haven't been able to find the other three currently-released sets (Borg, Klingons and TNG-era generic Starfleet) for a price I consider fair yet, so that's why I don't have them. ($52 a set, that's just stupid!) I plan on mixing in some of the Clix figs as needed. Some of the upcoming releases look promising. |
