Can anyone please tell me how compatible Blue Moon's Italian War range is with the recently reintroduced Venexia range? I don't plan on mixing the figures together but would Blue Moon be obviously bigger? Cheers and thanks in advance. Kent |

Venexia are very slim but Essex height. I mix them in the same army but not base with Essex. Blue Moon are probably bigger than both but at this scale how much does it all matter to you? |

This blog has extensive comparison photos: link I'd mix them, especially since both ranges have open handed figures so you can use same pikes, halberds, etc., for both, making them look far more compatible. In this other blog, figures from a number of manufacturers are mixed together in the same units very effectively: link |

I've found that the mounted tend to look better with each other than the foot. Some of the Blue Moon foot are very tall and have more bulk. |

Thanks guys. Your input is much appreciated. Until some specific crossbowmen for French/Gascons get released, I will use the Swiss crossbowmen from BM. Cheers Kent |
