Galeazzo Ciano dressed as an Italian pilot. When his Greek war went bad, Mussolini had a number of high ranking Fascists called up to show that they were supporting the war. Other Bill Mauldin characters we could use include the cavalry sergeant, Willie's nephew, and the Brit who complained about them leaving a messy battlefield Some minor leaders as targets for special forces raids: Vidkun Quisling, Francois Darlan, General Kreipe, or Georgios Tsolakaglou. Both Chesty and "Manilla John" Basilone have been done on limited issue by Bolt Action. A local gamer has the Chesty figure and it is spot on. I have only seen pics of the John Basilone figure. He is carrying a water cooled Browning. Good likeness. |

If we are talking about fictional characters. I would want the entire cast from the TV Show "Combat". All the characters from "Kelly's Heroes" which I am sure someone already makes. Cast from "Band of Brothers" and the "Pacific". Can't forget "McHale's Navy" if you have PT Boats. The "Rat Patrol" cast would be neat to have. |

All the characters from "Kelly's Heroes" which I am sure someone already makes. Cast from "Band of Brothers" and the "Pacific". Quite a lot of the Kelly's Heroes and Band of Brothers characters available from Warlord and Stoessi's Heroes. Be nice to see the rest. Cross of Iron is quite well covered too, by 1st Corps and Empress.
I would like to see some of the Eagle has Landed characters, so far only a Steiner figure from Warlord. |
