I tried Litko, but it seemed they have gone entirely to round bases, Rectangular bases are now a "custom order". I just want 40x20 bases to mount my little guys on. why is his now an exotic novelty?

Try Warbases.

They're in the UK but I've ordered from them a few times and service has been excellent.

Second Warbases, top notch international company.

Litko still does standard wargame bases

20 x 40mm Rectangular Bases in 3mm Craft Plywood
10-pack: $3.49 USD
25-pack: $5.99 USD
50-pack: $9.99 USD
100-pack: $16.99 USD

I agree it's a pain in the backside and popular gaming systems should include DBX or ADLG but they are available. I chose 3mm as it's a popular height

Really Litko cut almost everything to order anyway. Go with Litko they are speedy and reliable.

You don't have to use "base maker." You just have to outsmart the weird menu on the left-hand side once you choose bases.

This will get you where you want to be.

Litko makes scads of rectangular bases, as others have noted. Just ordered a bunch in December, arrived within a week.

Six Squared Studios are first rate in both product and service.

TRE Games is where I get all of my MDF bases from. Extremely quick with a great product.

Thanks everyone for the recs. Apparently Litko has a secret menu accessible only to the grognard illuminati :)

I concur with Six Squared Studios; "are first rate in both product and service."

Hey Guys,

Sorry if the navigation is being a little weird. The only issues we have heard of are on iPads, where the filter menu can get pushed off the left hand side of the screen. Rotating your iPad has solved the issues we have heard of.

We have so many options that we had to change over to a filtered navigation system. I just did a quick search myself and with all the size and material options we have, we have over 1200 -stock- options for bases…. not even counting the custom bases we produce.

If anybody cares to send us a screenshot of the issues they have we would be happy to try and fix any coding issues.

Beyond that, the filter menu that we have allows you to narrow your choices by shape, size, units, material and any special features you are looking for. You can even narrow the search in the 'size' filter and type in the size you are looking for… '0.5' for 0.5 inch bases for example.

We do listen to all feedback.

I am personally going to try and order some from Warbases. They are simply cheaper than other options (even taking shipping into consideration).

I've ordered from Litko and Warbases – both are excellent.
