Ok for those who have struggled in the past here is a 70 question WW II quiz all here should be able to ace. I don't necessarily agree 100% with their choice of answers, over simplified at best, but at least got 70 out of 70.

I see what you mean. I don't think you can class the result of Market Garden as a disaster for the allies. |

Exactly. The photos usually give away the answer they are looking for in many cases as well. |

I missed three, two of which were my bad for answering too quickly. The other one is a mistake on their part. Which allied invasion came first? Norway or North Africa? Norway of course, but the answer seemed to indicate they were asking about Normandy |

The allies invaded Norway before they invaded North Africa. They were just different allies – Britain and France – known at that time as the allies. |

Which allied invasion came first? Norway or North Africa? Technically the allied intervention in Norway was not an invasion as the Germans invaded first. It was an allied military mission to assist the Norwegian defence and the Norwegians welcomed their help. So the question is correct. |
