This past weekend, one hundred of us spent seven hours fighting a zombie apocalypse threatening Canada from the south. It wasn't really a miniatures game--more a game with some miniatures--but I suspect folks might find it interesting nonetheless.

That is simply amazing. If I am right and they were throwing news feeds up on the screen as the game was progressing then this must rank as a new high bar in megagaming. Bravo!

Yes, the news feeds were live from a remote studio (a room down the hall). They even managed to integrate video reports and a "crawl" at the bottom of the screen.

We had two laptops connected to the data projectors in the main room via a HDMI A/B switcher, and whenever they had a bulletin ready they would call (using walkie talkies), and we would switch from the standard turn display (powerpoint) to the live feed, then back when it was over.

That was an amazing achievement. I've seen far less ambitious projects go off the rails. Proof of good planning!!!
