This past weekend, one hundred of us spent seven hours fighting a zombie apocalypse threatening Canada from the south. It wasn't really a miniatures game--more a game with some miniatures--but I suspect folks might find it interesting nonetheless. link |

That is simply amazing. If I am right and they were throwing news feeds up on the screen as the game was progressing then this must rank as a new high bar in megagaming. Bravo! |

Yes, the news feeds were live from a remote studio (a room down the hall). They even managed to integrate video reports and a "crawl" at the bottom of the screen. We had two laptops connected to the data projectors in the main room via a HDMI A/B switcher, and whenever they had a bulletin ready they would call (using walkie talkies), and we would switch from the standard turn display (powerpoint) to the live feed, then back when it was over. |
