At Warfare last year, someone was selling Foam Inserts for Really Useful Boxes. Grey in colour and 32 x 28mm figures per tray. Can someone tell me who it was ? TIA |

Foam? I dont know about foam, but would like to know more. If you goto Sally 4th, they have had MDF inserts for some time now. But MDF is not foam. wargamesbuildings.co.uk/RUB Grimm |

Has anyone noticed how hard it is recently to get hold of the 'Hobby Tray' Inserts? Postage costs seem prohibitive :-( |

Nothing on Google matches what I bought at Warfare otherwise I wouldn't be asking. Firm dark grey foam with 33 slots for 28mm figures. Two layers fit snugly in a RUB 4l box , four in a 9l box. |

My guess is Figures In Comfort/SHQ. I bought a 9l RUB box with 4 trays (36 slots each) from them at Colours last year. I don't think they are on FiC's website though. |

Nope, definately not FIC. These have 33 slots, 6 x5 and 3 sideways at the end. I am sure they were being sold by a very small company and this was the first time I'd seen them. |

If it's a small trader, maybe Products For Wargamers? I don't see RUB trays listed, but that arrangement with some slots at the end going in the opposite direction sounds like the way they do their standard sized trays. |

One of the traders at Hammerhead had them Saturday…..now if only I could remember which one! |

I was at Hammerhead on Saturday and RUB's with grey foam inserts exactly as you describe, were being sold by SHQ/Figures in Comfort as Tamsin points out. They are not on Figures in Comforts website (which seems quite out of date). I assume that SHQ is the show seller for Figures in Comfort so maybe if you call SHQ on 01460 241306, they can tell you what's available and how to order or pick up at a suitable show! Don |
