Recommendations for 15mm Cossacks suitable for GNW? Nice Sculpts on the larger size to go with Legio Heroica and Blue Moon figures. I think I am not crazy about the Blue Moon 15mm Cossacks.

Would the "By Fire and Sword" chaps be any good?

Sorry it is a UK link, but worth looking if they are available in the US,

I use Essex miniatures for my Don Cossacks.

@nickinsomerset

How do you find those Fire and Sword Cossacks…and the Polish Hussars too?

I shouldve also asked for best Polish Hussars in 15mm

Its been a few years but the best 15mm, Polish, Winged Hussars I've seen was the Essex, but then that was back in 90s. Good detail, and animation, proportions were acceptable also as I recall. They had some decent Cossacks too as I recall.

Mini, My favourite Hussars are the Legio Heroica chaps, I have a couple of units of the Fire and Sword Hussars, not too bad.

Happy with the Cossacks, they form the majority of my Cossacks,

Take a look at Eureka's SYW Cossacks. Fine sculpts in dynamic poses and large in size.

The Essex Cossacks were a little large for my taste. I bought old Freicorps figures.

Have fun.

Those Eureka Cossacks are nicely done but too late. I need good late renaissance looking Cossacks.

Where do you get Freikorps15?

I dont like the Fire and Sword sculpts

I do love the Legio-Heroica Polish Winged hussars and am about to buy a bunch of figgies from them.

Anyone ever seen the Blue-Moon GNW Russian Cossack sculpts?

Why is it so hard to find good Cossacks?

Minipigs, if you are in the colonies, I recommend Scale Creep for FreiKorps.

BTW could you load some pics of your Winged Hussars, I may want to rebuild my Siege of Vienna era Polish?

Hi there. When my painter paints them (Polish winged hussars) and they get loaded onto an album I'll post them here.
