…The study, published in the archaeological journal Antiquity, reveals that the quarry where the stones originated from is approximately 180 miles away, in Pembrokeshire, in the western part of Wales…

That was "News" about 20 years ago.
Apparently Stonehenge gets solved regularly.

They've discovered it was actually a 'tourist trap'. Archaeologists have found evidence of concession booths, ring toss games, and even a dunk tank… ;-)

I like Zephyr1's idea.

I bought a series of books in 1970 that solved the "mysteries" of Atlantis, the Great Pyramid and Stonehenge. It is amazing the amount of media attention- books, mags, TV shows- given to re-solving these same mysteries over the last 50 years.

Come on, the source of the bluestone has been known for a very long time; certainly it was accepted fact when I was a student in the 1970's, and I'm pretty sure I remember it from a Ladybird book long before that.
If they have found the actual quarry, well done, but hardly a mystery, just an additional piece of information.

Wasn't there a Stonehenge episode? Scooby did it!

Fox news-50 years behind the times. Surprised they didn't have an exclusive interview with Jones the Bluestone Hewer.
