I'm starting a new project, and I am looking for advice on what colors (vallejo or craft paints) to use with modern (as in now) US infantry. What would be a good green for a base coat? Thanks.

There are several different ones in use. Which one or which units/service are you asking about?

Any modern green uniform will do. CONUS Army troops, if that matters any.

Green Grey? followed by the other colors

V886, you probably have it.

There is no green grey in the OEF uniform.

I used GW colors from ages ago. You can find conversion guides somewhere….

Goblin green. Today I would use reflective green from Vallejo.

Bestial Brown.
Iraqi sand

German Camo Brown.

For the boots Iraqi sand with a brown wash over.
