Great figures beautifully painted- I love the platoon fire depiction- I'd never thought of doing that.

The regimental colour carried in the WAS was very different though from the standardised scheme introduced throughout the army in 1751. It was a typical elaborate design based on the colonel's family heraldry (Scipio Duroure, of Huguenot ancestry and killed leading his regiment at Fontenoy.

This old colour certainly existed a few years ago in the NAM and probably still does exist. Illustration at link, or it's shown in the Osprey Elite 81 on British colours and standards.

As usual you give the best in all your works. Really nice figures, this period is greatly tempting, but as you know I own a huge quantity of GNW lead so I need to finish first these figures. Crann Tara figures are excellent. Great work Truls!!!

Nope, no 42nd no mater how much I would like to paint them.
As of now, I'm working on the 14th light dragoons and the 88th foot.
