Here is some stuff I've been working on since mid December.
Occult blades squad.
These guys will eventually get five more models. They function better as you get more of them and 5 of them aren't really that great.
Still they are pretty cool looking and I like the idea of Thousand Sons using their powers to make them better swordsmen.
Next up is a Moritat. For him I imagined that he was either one of the weaker Thousand Sons as a psyker or his powers were non-existent so he trained in a different way and became one of the best gunslingers in the legion.
This would, of course, make him more of a loner as he couldn't connect with his brothers.
The twin volkite weapons are not anywhere near as powerful as twin plasma pistols when fighting marines, but do make the model a much more predictable element when planning games out.
The Plasma pistols are easily capable of wiping out a squad in one round of shooting, alternately they may kill the user or cause him wounds after killing only a couple of guys.
With the volkites you are almost certainly not going to kill more than 3 or 4 marines in a round of shooting, although if you were playing against xenos you would probably wipe out entire squads of low T low save models, like Dark Eldar.
