Our club set up a couple thousand 6mm minis to run the Battle of Zama between Scipio and Hannibal. We used the historical scenario from Age of Hannibal, and it's an open battlefield with relatively even numbers. There's a notable difference in troop quality across the board, favoring Scipio's force. A tall task for Hannibal! Photos at the AAR below:

Nice report. I'm a big fan of AoF and I'm really enjoying your Little Wars TV content.

Hmm, it is me? But when I click on the link I only see a blurb paragraph but no actual battle AAR?

Did something get cut off?

Click on the numbers above the picture, they are a running commentary for each of the photos associated with the number.

Great looking game, Greg! This Saturday, my friend and I are introducing Age of Hannibal to a retired Brigadier General who was once the Army's Chief Historian. Should be a fun time!

i like watching the video and am tempted to buy the rules but feel that $40 USD for a 26 page rule set and even $16 USD for a pdf is offsetting .

mumbasa14 Feb 2019 2:15 p.m. PST

I'm happy with the $26 USD set I bought from Lulu.

Honestly, when I go to that link there are no numbers above the picture. In fact there is no picture at all other than the bust of Hannibal I'm assuming.

I've never run into this issue before. I use Firefox, not sure if that might the problem?

The link works just fine for me in Safari. It must be your browser, mghFond.

The price for Age of Hannibal is $26 USD for the 48-page print rulebook, and $16 USD for the PDF version. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Great looking game— like the rule set and scenarios. I'd like to get this adapted to Bronze Age chariot warfare.
