"Un Sacrificium Parvis ob Adagnitio" But that's actually Latin, with reasonable grammar based on secondary school education standards (according to my secondary school Latin teacher). HP and WH don't actually use Latin, they use made up languages that are supposed to sound like Latin. GW does it ostensibly so their trademarkable name properties are distinguishable from actual Latin content (or other languages, in the few cases where that applies). Where they use actual Latin phrases in the newer (relative to me) stuff, I'm sure an IP lawyer did a search and scrub on them. |
