I have an old copy, maybe from the 30's. It is a pretty hefty tome. Has anyone read it? Is it worth the read, or has the information been superseded over the decades? Thanks. |

No but would love to take a crack at it. There was a author maybe last summer who wrote a book on this but it was new. It was on book tv or the Pennsylvania channel. |

Sorry. I have the book, but have not gotten around to reading it. It was written in 1931. More recent authors such as Francis Jennings (1980's) are more sympathetic to the Native Americans, thus altering the perspective of the narrative. |

My $.02 USD, I have the book and also the book that he wrote on Indian Chiefs of Pennsylvania. Both are first rate reading and I highly recommend anything written by that author! Tom Semian Irvine, PA. 16329 p.s. I am always looking for gamers in my area (northwestern Pennsylvania). Please contact me if you might care to do some gaming. Tom S |
