I'm thinking of starting a 28mm ACW Skirmish collection and like the look of both the Wargames Foundry Range, sculpted by the Perrys, and the current Perry range. I imagine that figures from these ranges would match up quite well but can anyone with models from both ranges confirm this for me please before I spend out?
I know other ranges are available but for now I just want to check on those two.

Thanks for any help.

I have models from both companies' ACW ranges and they match up very well. I do not hesitate to mix them. The Perry ranges are subtly different from the Foundry, but painted side by side, you won't know which is which. I think the ACW Foundry range was one of the later ranges the Perrys sculpted for Foundry which, if true, would account for the negligible if any difference between figs in the 2 ranges. I noticed more differences in the AWI ranges with some figure sizes but still mixed them with excellent results.

The most recent Perry models are a bit larger, but not much.

Wargames Foundry and Perry will also mix well with the expanding Crusader Miniatures ACW range

That's good to know because I ordered some of the Foundry ACW yesterday to go with my Perry, Sash and Saber and Old Glory 2nd Edition ACW.

Wow, lightning fast delivery – the Foundry minis arrived today! They are a perfect match with the Perrys, so thanks for the heads-up.
