Saxons. Free small-scale landholders fighting for hearth and home. What's not to love?

Vikings! There are no problems that a well handled Dane-axe and a flagon of mead can't solve

Vikings--lots of sagas to read and game, interesting mythology, and they get around, so can fight just about anybody from that time period.

Saxons – the original Odin-worshiping pagans who invaded a Christian Britain!

Vikings, all the saxons had to do was buy a Volvo and there wouldn't have been any axes or blood!

Hehe… it's the Dark Ages. If you have Saxon OR Vikings you pretty much have an army that will pass for all of the above!

Vikings – because as Grelber said, they got around to many places in early Medieval times, such as the British Isles, Normandy, southern Italy, Kievan Rus, and the Byzantine Empire.

Well you need both for a proper medieval invasion of Britain, don't you?

If you like to party, you go Vikings.
If you like to prostrate, you go Saxon.

SKOL!!!! to Legion 4, time for a Viking coffee.

Gunfreak Supporting Member of TMP21 Feb 2019 3:21 a.m. PST

This is the proper viking football club.

1. Its actual football and not handegg.
2. Its from a place where actual vikings lived.
