I was very impressed with the "dashboards" Dark Ops makes for What A Tanker after using one at HMGS-South's Hurricon last year. After buying the rules decided to order some myself.

I did have a question on shipping. If I had gone a bit further in the order process would have seen it. Nonetheless I dropped a note to Dark Ops asking about shipping to the US. My message was early afternoon my time so didnt expect a answer until the next day at best. Dark Ops replied immediately. They told me shipping is a flat rate of 14 pounds on orders from 10-100 pounds. They mentioned they usually lost money on shipping. I went ahead and placed an order for their 9 pack and dropped a note letting them know I had ordered. Once again heard right back!

After the order I received a confirmation email. I received notice when they shipped. Total time from order until they were in my hands was less than 2 weeks. And the postage sticker showed they paid 16 pounds 30 for shipping. They wrapped the order in a double layers of heavy ply plastic wrap. The first layer may be a bit heavier. The outer layer had suffered a bit in the shipping but the inner wrapper was fine and the boards (MDF kits) arrived without a scratch!

There are no assembly instructions but as you can see if you click on the link there are a series of photos that take you through assembly. I actually prefer these over the usual black and white instruction sheet. Images are high quality, in color and one can zoom in on any details.

Finished up the first 3 and I highly recommend them if you are interested in playing What A Tanker. Great company and very pleased with all aspects of the transaction.

I Completely agree. They are very useful and add to the game.

Yup, I bought a set and painted/assembled them. Going to use them in a game this week. Very nice product.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't seen these before. You saved me making my own.

You won't regret it. Having a bit of fun customizing my paint job.
