Premiering Monday, March 25th, 2019…

A grittier, more brutal, and at least slightly more historically-inclined second season of the History show dramatizing the fall of the Knights Templar in early 14th Century France. This season was written & produced by an all-new creative team (including myself, a long-time Medieval history geek, wargamer, and TMP member.)

If interested, check out the newly-released TRAILER -- featuring 2+ mins of footage from the coming season -- here:

(Season 2 also adds Mark Hamil to the cast)

Nicely done, you give me hope that the 1st season will fade from my mind.

Haha, Wackmole, makes me laugh. I was also thinking it couldn't possibly be worse than the first season, though I daresay as a kid, this would have been my favorite show, like 'Combat' was. I absolutely loved every second of Combat as a kid and then saw an episode as an adult and couldn't believe how bad it was. haha. Better than 'Ice Road Truckers' or 'Pawn Stars' on the History Channel, I guess. I'm old enough to remember when there used to be shows about history on that channel.

I once met a Historian who worked for History Channel. I can frankly say as 4th Grader I know more about Medieval History that this PHD.

I enjoyed the first season as pretty good entertainment. Looking forward to the next season.

Hope your hope comes true, Wackmole9!

Dukewilliam -- I sympathize re: some childhood faves, and certainly hope you will not think it is "worse than the first season"! Can't know for sure of course, but I'm pretty confident you won't think that's the case.

redmist1122 -- glad you enjoyed Season 1, though I had nothing to do with it. Hope you like Season 2 as much, or maybe even better.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Hope you all enjoy Season 2. And if not, well… you know where to find me!*

(*Generally either over on the Terrain board or the 19th Century boards, as I build terrain and mostly play 1878-1880 Second Afghan War colonials.)
