It has been 12+ years since I lived in Austin (This is Patrick, hi guys!) I have a friend of my son's who is stationed at Ft. Hood and is very interested in getting involved with miniature wargaming. He is an 11C with the 3rd SCR, very interested in history as well (his summer job was at a historic site.) Also, when I was a kid, I took him and my son to Southern Front one year and he loved it. Any clubs or groups in the area in (Texas) driving distance of Ft. Hood? Anyone want to take him under their wing and introduce a new guy to the hobby? Ironically someone did that for me when I was stationed at Ft. Hood 25 years ago. (Thanks Fred Brannon) You can PM me with your personal contact information also if you like and I will get him in touch with you. Thanks! |
