Thank you! I didn't realize that this game was out yet. I will have to do some more research. |

Those look good. Wish there were details on the size and price of the Cylon Base Ships. |

"This game will be compared to X-Wing, since they are both space ship battles, but their approaches are very different. BSG SB is more focused on piloting of each craft in a scenario based play where X-Wing is almost solely squad based combat. Each ship in BSG SB has a unique deck of 22 maneuver cards to choose from making the ships movement unique to itself and allowing for a very expansive selection of maneuvers, unlike X-wing where all ships uses the same 17 templates for movement." --Bronzesparrow link "Excellent game based on a clever and brilliant system. The level of detail on the miniatures, most of which can only be appreciated under magnification, is absolutely amazing." --jetcougar "Beautiful miniatures (best pre-painted I've ever seen) and components that really capture the feel of the TV series. Rules can be somewhat tricky to grasp at first but once mastered become much easier to use and provide a great experience of space combat. Starter box is a great value with enough ships for 2-4 players with campaign and experience rules to create customized pilots who improve as you play." --NeoTanuki |

Detail on Viper. Apparently, this is out of the box, not a repaint.
More Viper detail.
Control panels with numbers painted in red and white for better visibility.
Cylon Raider out of the box. Note mottled paint scheme.

I like the raider paint scheme, and those little control boxes look neat too. |

Detail on Viper. Apparently, this is out of the box, not a repaint. I'd believe it, looks like a rubber stamp. |

Agreed; they look amazing, but if the viper next to the 'Reimagined Galactica', is from the SB game, then IMO the Galactica looks to be 'at least' 4", & the new Cylon Baseships even larger. The preview states you can play both the Reimagined and the TOS. So it only makes sense, the TOS Battlestars will be produced as well. A marketing pt. I think it would be in their interest (depending on cost) to make the Cap ships to be bought in singles or pairs. That allows the Gamer to decide; play the TV story line, or larger 2-3 Cap ships per side and fight one of the Cylon Wars over a number of games. btw.. the preview of the Mk. VII, amazing. But Im also very curious as to price, and size of the Cap ships more than any other. |

Stunning detail on those ships, and fighters too. Anyone know how large the capital ships are, and prices for them? |
