I have put together a revised Fleet Book 1, specifically the ESU, with more modern SSDs. I have been evolving a nicer look to SSDs for my convention games, and wanted to use some old ESU ships but didn't like the old style SSDs all that much.

While I was updating them, I thought that maybe some other people might like to have them all in one place, so I put together a quick, no-frills fleet book. I have no plans to do any of the other fleet book 1 factions (I don't have their miniatures, and frequently used them as a reference for the SSD outlines).

Since I can't attach files here, see this discussion at Star Ranger, where you can get it:

I sincerely much prefer the "classic" FT ESU ships than the newer ones…

Loooong time ago I asked Jon if it would be posible to order some old stile ships , and he said that perhaps it would be , but that the old molds were not in the best condition…

I know someone made the old NAC ships in shapeways , it would be great if the ols WESU ones were also modeles and sold along those others .

Natxoman, if you come over to the Full Thrust Facebook group, occasionally the old sculpt ships come up for sale as used ships.

Isn't that an NSL ship on the cover?

billclo12 Feb 2019 4:04 a.m. PST

Yes. I am in the process of working on a better cover. At the time, I just reused the old fleet book 1 cover, but several people have encouraged me to come up with something better.

When I do, I'll put up a revised fleet book.

No worries, just asking. Those old school NSL ships were my favourite models.

I put up a V1.2 of the fleet book, main difference is a different cover to help set it apart from the original fleet book cover, yet resemble it.
