I don't usually give props to a competitor, but I will in this case. Here is my review of the battle of Blenheim 1704 as played by a set of miniature wargaming rules from the UK's Pike and Shot Society, a game we lovingly call TWIGLET 😊.

I was one of the players for this great game. The rules do mess with your head at first, but are so simple to play that we all made progress by the end of the game.

There is an alternative game sequence that does less 'head messing' here – link

This is now the official game sequence, in for example the new 'Twilight of Divine Right' rules for the ECW/TYW.

FWIW, I kinda prefer the "head messing."
