Legendary keelboat Captain, scoundrel, braggart and brawler. This is the standard illustration.
But then, here is the Disney character from the Davy Crockett movie.
I fear it isn't quite all that realistic, what with the Indiana Jones fedora, but if you're going to have him in a game…. Anyway. Any suggestions? And I'm not talking about a $500 USD Kickstarter. |

I have the keel boats painted (from Things from he Basement) and have converted figures to be pole pushers. Once I get them painted, I'll be running a keel boat race game at one of the big HMGS East conventions. I hope to have the figures and terrain in place for Historicon. Buck |

I only need one keelboat, and I finished assembling it last night. What figures did you use for pushers? |

I bought Eureka harpooners and converted them cutting off the harpoons and replacing them with brass rod. I think it would be cool to have a Disney version of Mike Fink in my game. I'll have to go back and do my historical research (watch the five Disney episodes) to get see how many boat names I can glean from them. Buck |

I'm going with the 28mm model from Thingsfromthebasement because it's actually for sale. If a model of the Lewis and Clark keelboat were available, I might have one of them. |
