Any idea how large a projectile needs to be to detonate reactive armor? Is small-caliber DS at least as effective as full-caliber AP?

Detonation is based on "shock" (mass, momentum, energy) I would not expect anything less than a 20-40mm DU round to trigger Kontact ERA. That said, most HEAT rounds such as RPG-7 @ 40mm would.

I understand that .50 Raufoss (semi-armor-piercing explosive-incendiary) will do it, too.
