Evening all,

Can't stop painting at the moment (which ain't a bad thing) so I will just keep milking the paint mojo till it runs dry.

This week I have added a unit of bow armed Stradiots and some Swiss Polearm troops to the hordes.

Both Perrys Miniatures, it's hard to pick fault with these figures, the detail is just great and a real joy to paint, don't know if it's my painting style but they just seem so easy to do.

Lots of pics on t'blog. More Italian Wars soon.

Beautifully executed. Looking forward to your next pictures.

What color do you use for the ground? On the screen it looks perfect for a couple projects I have.

Rich, the bases are painted Miniature Paint Earth Brown, drybrushed Vallejo Iraqi Sand. Green Basetex added, dry brushed flat yellow, various tufts added.

Hope that helps,

Those horses look great, you've put a lot of energy into them!
